Would Jesus show up at a Porn Show?

If someone asked me whether Jesus would ever show up at a porn convention, here’s my honest answer: Yes. He would. 100%. Not to judge anyone. Not to preach at anyone. Not to make a scene. He would show up for one beautiful reason:

Because every single person in that room matters to Him — more than they could ever imagine.

And He wants them to know that.

Jesus Never Avoided People. He Moved Towards Them.

If you’ve ever heard bits and pieces about Jesus, there’s one thing that stands out:

He didn’t spend His time with the “perfect” people.

He didn’t hide from people with complicated stories. He didn’t walk around acting like He was too holy to sit with someone. Actually… He did the opposite.

He sat with people everyone else avoided.

He listened to people nobody else wanted to hear.

He defended people others tried to shame.

He walked into places considered “off limits” by religious folks.

And He treated every single person with dignity, respect, and compassion.

So if He walked the earth today, where would He go?

He’d go wherever people are, even the places others talk badly about or judge from a distance.

A porn show wouldn’t scare Him off.

He’d walk in without hesitation.

Jesus Wouldn’t Walk In to Fix You. He’d Walk In Because He Loves You.

A lot of people imagine God as someone disappointed or annoyed with them.

But that’s not who Jesus is.

If He showed up at a convention, He wouldn’t be looking around thinking:

  • “You should be better.”

  • “You need to change first.”

  • “You don’t belong near Me.”

No. His eyes would soften. His heart would be moved. He would smile when He saw you, not because of what you do, but because of who you are. He would walk toward you with kindness. He would sit with you without flinching. He would listen to your story without judgment. He would look at you as a whole person, not your content, not your persona, not your past.

Just you.

Jesus Would See What Most People Miss.

Most people think they know your worth based on your job, your body, or what they’ve seen online. Jesus doesn’t see you like that. He sees:

  • your strength

  • your resilience

  • your heart

  • the things you’ve overcome

  • the things you’ve carried alone

  • the things you don’t tell anyone

He sees the laughter you fake because you have to. He sees the moments you cry in private because it’s the only place you feel safe enough to be real. He sees the way you push through life even when you’re exhausted. He sees you! The real you; and He loves you without hesitation.

Why Would Jesus Enter a Place Like That?

Because He goes where people rarely feel loved or valued.

Because He wants people to know they’re not too far away for Him to reach.

Because He shows up in places where people assume He wouldn’t.

He walks into rooms others avoid. He sits with people others misunderstand. He loves people others label or judge. And He does it without ever shaming them or forcing them to change first.

Jesus doesn’t run from people. He runs to them.

If You’re Still in the Industry…

This blog isn’t here to preach at you or pressure you.

It’s simply here to tell you something you may not hear often:

You are worth loving.

You are not forgotten.

You matter.

Right now. As you are. Jesus isn’t waiting for you to “get your life together” before caring about you. He cares about you today, in the real, raw, unfiltered version of your life. And if you ever want someone to talk to…someone who gets the industry… someone who knows what the pressure feels like…someone who understands what it’s like to smile on the outside and hide everything else…

We’re here.

No judgment. No pressure.

Just love and a safe place to breathe.

Jesus loves people in the adult industry. And that includes you deeply, genuinely, and completely.

Guided Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for seeing me, and thank You for loving me even when I didn’t believe You could. Thank You that the decisions I’ve made have never made You stop loving me, and that there is nothing I could ever do that would make You walk away from me. I know You’ve been pursuing me with Your love and Your grace. Thank You for Your mercy and for understanding the reasons behind the choices I’ve made. Your love is drawing me in and making me want to know You more. Open my heart and help me hear Your voice. Be my Lord and Savior. Speak to me, guide me, and draw me into Your loving arms.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
